Overview
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Articlon’s applications, websites, APIs, and related services (“Services”). They form a binding agreement between you and Articlon (“we,” “us,” “our”). If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization and accept the Terms on its behalf.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or submitting a brief, you acknowledge that you’re working directly with a solo builder and agree to keep usage limited to lawful, respectful academic workflows. If you disagree, discontinue use immediately.
2. Service description
Articlon is developed and maintained by one person. The service offers multi-agent research, outlining, writing, citation, and QA workflows with rate-limited PDF extraction and downloadable outputs. Features may evolve quickly to keep the system stable.
3. User responsibilities
You’re responsible for the content you upload, for complying with institutional policies, and for reviewing outputs before sharing them. Don’t submit illegal, discriminatory, or infringing content, and please don’t brute-force or script the endpoints — this is a small operation.
4. Intellectual property
You own the briefs, uploads, and drafts generated. Articlon may store encrypted copies for troubleshooting, improving prompts, or meeting legal requirements. I’ll never sell or reuse your work outside the service.
5. Plan usage & limits
Daily/monthly generations, PDF extraction caps, and queue priority exist so a solo infrastructure bill stays predictable. If you need more than your plan allows, reach out via the Feedback and Support form- Happy to discuss custom terms.
6. Suspension & termination
I may suspend accounts that violate these terms or threaten platform security. You can cancel anytime; if you need data deleted, send a request via the Feedback and Support form and I'll confirm once it's removed.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Because this is a one-person product, the service is provided “as is.” I can’t guarantee outputs will satisfy every reviewer or publisher. Always double-check citations before turning in work.
8. Limitation of liability
Articlon isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. If something goes sideways, total liability is capped at what you paid in the prior month.
9. Updates to these terms
These terms will evolve as the product matures. I’ll post updates in-app or via email, and continued use means you accept the latest version.
