1. Data we collect
- Account details: name, email, organization, and plan information.
- Content you provide: Research Topic, Discipline, Citation Style, Idea of the Paper, final article content
- Operational telemetry: job status, queue metrics.
- Support interactions: messages sent to me through the dashboard or email.
2. How we use your data
- Produce and deliver article drafts, citations, and progress updates.
- Monitor rate limits, detect abuse, and maintain system reliability.
- Improve prompts, agents, and UI—often by reading anonymized snippets directly.
- Send product updates or personal follow-ups (there’s no marketing department).
3. Where data is stored
- Account records, drafts, and job metadata live in an encrypted managed database.
- Uploaded PDFs sit in short-lived object storage while extraction runs; artifacts are wiped once the text is returned.
- Backups stay in the same geographic region as the main deployment to keep latency low and comply with residency constraints.
4. Sharing & third parties
- I don’t sell your data.
- Vendors (hosting, auth, observability) are limited to what’s needed to run the product.
- If a law or abuse investigation compels disclosure, I’ll comply and let you know when possible.
5. Data retention & deletion
- Job records and drafts follow your plan’s retention schedule (90 days for beta plan).
- Uploads can be deleted at any time from the dashboard or via support request.
- Closed accounts are purged within 30 days unless legal obligations require a longer period.
- To Delete your data you can request through the Feedback and Support form.
6. Security practices
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest.
- Role-based access controls for internal tooling.
- Continuous monitoring, automated patching.
7. Your rights
- Access and export your data via support requests.
- Request corrections or deletion, subject to institutional agreements.
- Opt out of non-essential communications using links in those emails.
8. Contact
- For privacy inquiries, data requests, or general support, please use the Feedback and Support form.
- Replies usually arrive within a few days, unless I’m heads-down shipping a release.
